SCUTS conquer USF 59-8
USF was the first to score taking a 5-0 lead. Senior forward Anders Loven Holt scored the first SCUTS try followed by a kick by senior Anthony Pastore, jumpstarting SCUTS’ dominating offense. Senior eightman Edgar Varela soon scored followed by a speedy try by junior fullback Michael Dessel. Pastore kicked for points. Sophomore flyhalf Daniel Iritani followed with another try and another good kick from Pastore.
After USF made a penalty kick, the SCUTS continued their offensive domination with an additional five more trys made by freshman Nick Johnson, sophomore Alex Arezzini, junior Chris Spirz, Pastore, and Dessel. Final score for the game was SCUTS win, 59-8.
