The SCUTS played a hard fought game against ASU at Sanford, FL in the Sweet Sixteen playoffs. Senior Anthony Pastore was the first to put points on the board kicking two consecutive penalty kicks to put the SCUTS up 6-0. ASU responded with two tries. Pastore scored another penalty kick to put the score at 14-9 going into the second half.
Junior Michael Dessel started off the second half with a quick try to tie up the game, 14-14. ASU scored a penalty kick and followed up with a try. Pastore scored one last penalty kick to bring the score to 22-17 before ASU broke away to score two additional tries to pull away with the win. The final score was 34-17, ASU.
