Santa Cruz Slugfest Tournament - UC Santa Cruz
October 20th was a day full of rugby for the Santa Clara University Touring Sides 
first tournament of the season. Armed with over 15 returning players from last season and more than 25 rookies, the SCUTS were ready to take on the competition and show the Bay area their potential for the upcoming season.
After their rallying win over Cal Poly, the SCUTS kept their momentum high for their next game against local rival UC Santa Cruz Slugs. Although the Slugs were the first team to score and led 5-0, Sophomore wing Marc Fuller was able to slip past and score the first try, with Senior fullback Mitch Ryan kicking for points. Later on, Fuller was able to get a great run in and scored another try, putting the final score at 12-5 SCUTS.
