Santa Cruz Slugfest Tournament
October 20th was a day full of rugby for the Santa Clara University Touring Sides 
first tournament of the season. Armed with over 15 returning players from last season and more than 25 rookies, the SCUTS were ready to take on the competition and show the Bay area their potential for the upcoming season.
In their final game against the UC Davis Aggies, the SCUTS again allowed the opposing team the first try and then dominated the rest of the game. Sophomore forward Anthony Pastore and Senior Outside Center Scott Peterson scored. With the clock winding down Sophomore flanker Michael Chacon-Teran made a great run to score the try in the corner. The final score against the Aggies was another SCUTS win, 15-5.
