vs San Francisco Golden Gate

February 17th, 2007 was a great game day for the SCUTS at home on Bellomy Field. After a week full of rain and strong winds, the sun decided to come out for the game along with a lot of home team fans.  Although SF Golden Gate may have been the first team to score, it didnít take long for junior forward Greg Ginotti to score the first try for the SCUTS, with senior  John Travis converting the kick for points.  Soon after that exciting drive, freshman rookie Marc Fuller scored a try with a run on the weak side.  Late in the game, Travis also made a penalty kick for three points, putting the SCUTS in a very close position into overtaking SF Golden Gateís lead. But despite the SCUTSí strong comeback in the last ten minutes of the game, SF Golden Gate held on to win the game 15-18.
