SCUTS Defeat UWisconsin-Whitewater 23-20 to Finish No. 16 in the Country

The SCUTS earned their final win of the season today against UWisconsin-Whitewater, 23-20 today in Sanford, FL. The SCUTS will finish the season with a No. 9 national ranking. Special thanks to our graduating senior class and our wonderful fans!

SCUTS Lose Tough Battle to ASU, 34-17

The SCUTS ended their playoff run today with a 34-17 loss to Arizona State. The SCUTS will play tomorrow against UWisconsin-Whitewater at 12:00 p.m. Eastern time in the tournament’s consolation bracket.

SCUTS Travel to Florida for Sweet Sixteen!

The SCUTS are on their way to the Sweet Sixteen in Sanford, FL today in preparation for Saturday’s big match-up against Arizona State. The game will start at 4:00 Eastern time and will be broadcast live online. Below are the links to follow the action on Saturday. SCUTS Fall to Cal Maritime, Earn No. 2 Pacific Seed for Sweet 16

The SCUTS fell 34-7 to Cal Maritime to earn the No. 2 Pacific seed for the Sweet Sixteen. The SCUTS will head to Florida and compete against Arizona State on April 16th. Other teams representing the Pacific will be Western Oregon and Cal Maritime.

SCUTS Qualify for Sweet 16 After Thrilling OT Win Over Snow College

The SCUTS are officially bound for Florida and the Sweet Sixteen after today’s thrilling 39-38 overtime win over Snow College! The SCUTS are guaranteed at least the No. 2 Pacific seed in the Sweet Sixteen tournament pending tomorrow’s results against Cal Maritime.

Tomorrow’s game for the No. 1 seed spot against Cal Maritime will be played at 3:00 pm. Check back here for updates, live updates on the game will be posted on Twitter at “SCUTSRugby”

SCUTS To Take on Snow College Tomorrow In First Round of Playoffs

The first round of the PCRFU playoffs begins tomorrow at Cal Maritime Academy. The SCUTS will take on Snow College at 3:00 p.m. Directions are posted below.

Depending on tomorrow’s result, the SCUTS will play on Saturday, April 3rd at 1:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. against either Western Oregon/Cal Maritime. The SCUTS need one win to advance to the Sweet Sixteen tournament in Florida.

Driving Directions :

From Sacramento:

· West on I-80 toward San Francisco

· Exit right one exit past Magazine Street and down to light on Rt. 29 Sonoma Boulevard.

· Straight across Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29) onto Maritime Academy Drive and follow road downhill through campus gate.

From San Francisco, Oakland:

· East on I-80 toward Sacramento

· Cross Carquinez Bridge (use right toll lanes) toll is $4.00

· Immediately after toll, exit right onto Sonoma Blvd (Hwy 29)

· Left at first stop light onto Maritime Academy Drive

· Follow Maritime Academy Drive downhill through campus gate.

Bodnar Field Directions:

Through entrance gate, turn right up the hill. Bodnar Field located on the right at top of hill.

Parking available near field.

SCUTS Earn Playoff Bid After Defeating USF 59-8

The SCUTS have qualified for the first round of the PCRU playoffs after today’s win over the University of San Francisco, 59-8. The SCUTS will compete this Friday. Playoffs will be hosted at Cal Maritime, check back here for updates.

The SCUTS will take on USF tomorrow afternoon on Bellomy for a chance to go to playoffs. With a win, the SCUTS will move on to playoffs next weekend. For the seniors, it is their last game in front of the home crowd. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there.
