Great game yesterday beating UCSC. I still don’t like artificial turn, but at least there won’t be any reasons to cancel home games because of rainy weather. I was told there should not be any turn-burn,because the “ground” under the turf is made from coconut shells, and therefore no little rubber things getting in the player’s shoes. Liked how the back line moved the ball around. Good passing led to some tries. Looking forward to the Feb. 17th game under the lights at Buck Shaw. Rugby alums out there: let’s get it going and show up to root for Santa Clara!
